The past year has been a devastating one for artists who had to rely upon classes and workshops for their primary livelihoods. The current AAPL Board understands the financial stress the pandemic has wrought and is embarking on a plan to ease this burden on its membership.
Our primary goal this year provides Members with a new opportunity for additional revenue through the League's first Studio Auction taking place July 8 through 18, 2021. Conducted through the on-line sales platform Bidsquare, it will also raise funds to enhance the League's overall Member services and activities.
In addition to our promotional efforts, Bidsquare engages in targeted marketing via email, Google adwords, social media, and a robust website with SEO support and thousands of registered users who receive notifications of new events. The AAPL Studio Auction will be advertised to 200,000 Bidsquare clients within the US, and an equal number around the world.
Elected Artist Members and higher levels should have received an email with the Prospectus and a Link to the Submission Form.
Submissions will be accepted from May 14 through 28.
